Our blog

I have started many journals in my life but I have never filled more than one of them. This blog will be our family journal. I will try to record day to day happenings but also some of the important things that have happened in the last 7 years since we started our family. So bear with us as you read through things that you already know.

Here's the REAL first post

We were talking last night about how hard it is to keep in touch with everyone we want to, and decided that opening a family blog might be the best way to do this. We can easily post pictures and updates about our family here.

I have been very busy at work. I worked multiple 16 hour days last week. My Medisoft Advisory board was in town to test Medisoft Version 14, and on top of that, we were filming videos that will be shown at the Medisoft Summit in January. It was a lot of fun to see some good friends again. I really love my job, and getting to work with these great people is a big reason why.

My favorite news of the week was that Barry Bonds was indicted for steroid use. I find everything that is happening with him, from the branding of the baseball to this, to be hilarious. He did steroids because he desperately wanted to be worshiped by legions of fans. All he did was alienate most of America.

We had family pictures taken last week for the first time in quite a few years. Jamie Williams from our ward took them for us at Val Vista lakes. They turned out pretty well. As soon as we figure out the whole blog thing, we'll get a slideshow posted. Getting the kids to stay still for as long as it took was not an easy task, but three little boys can be a handful in most situations.

I'll let Monika post her own update. As we get this blog posted to all our friends and family, we hope to stay in touch with all of you better than we have up until this point. We hope you are all doing well, and hope to hear from many of you very soon.
